Burrington Estates had a small development of 12 bungalow homes which they wanted to light but also cater for the ecological issues that the site presented. As the road was to be private they did not want to put a lighting electricity cost burden on the residents so they came to Solar Vision to see if we could help them.
Solution
Solar Vision reviewed the development and provided Burrington Estates with a lighting design that provided them with a good lighting and with a colour temperature that would respect the bats that were in close proximately.
Outcome
The installation of four 5m ASTRAL columns and one HELIA bollard provided the development with a good lighting profile, with a light temperature of 2700k which catered for the habitat, the proposal gave the residents a cost-free lighting solution.

Over 25 years this project will have saved our atmosphere 5.75 tonnes of CO₂.
